Our oven ready wood pigeons have been freshly prepared by us and can be cooked once purchased. It has a slightly strong gamey flavor, but is the perfect bird to try when exploring game meats as its versatility suits many dishes. The wood pigeon has a darker meat compared to other game birds, but is of a similar size to a partridge. The typical serving size is one bird per person.
